Height: 2160 feet
Difficulty level: Easy with good endurance level
Type: Forest trail. Mostly descending
Trek Duration / Distance: 6-7 hours, 13 kms
Maximum participants: 15-20 participants only

Andhar, meaning ‘dark’, and ban, which means ‘forest’. Literally the ‘dark forest’ so dense and dark that at some places the sun-rays don’t reach to ground at noon time as well. It is also one of the ancient Sahyadri passes that joins Tamhini ghat to Konkan area.

Andharban trek is the perfect place for every trekker who wishes to experience the pleasure of wandering into deep jungles with enthralling views.
Imagine walking through the trails deep into the jungle surrounded by sounds of the rustling of leaves, chirping of birds, buzzing of insects, crossing river streams and gushing waterfalls. Blissful, isn’t it?

🔺 Itinerary:
Day 00:
23:00 Hrs: Meet us at Dadar TT circle, Mumbai
Will share en route pick up points one day before the event

Day 01:
05:00 Hrs : At base village
• Breakfast-Tea time
• Introduction & Instruction

07:00 Hrs : Start our trek
11:30 Hrs : Lunch Break at Hirdi Plateau
12:30 Hrs : Return Journey at Pimpri Dam
15:30 Hrs : At Pimpri Dam
16:00 Hrs : Departure to Mumbai/ Pune

🔺 Things to carry:

• Lunch for a day
• ID proof
• Face Mask (must)
• Hand Sanitizer (must)
• Min. 2 liters water
• Ready to eat food (biscuits, plum cake, chips etc.)
• Rainywear (optional) avoid umbrella
• Good trekking shoes preferably Action
• Extra pair of clothes (Compulsory)
• Energy drink (ex. Glucon D)
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. (Please do not bring suitcases or sling bags/ jholas)
• Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
• Camera (optional)
• Please try to wear track pants and a full sleeve t-shirt
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
• Collect all garbage and carry back we will dispose it in city.

***Notes: Please keep in mind that we shall change our policies and procedures based on Government regulations in future. As you know, there can be last-minute announcements and we will have to follow them. However, we shall try to abide by the Government rules keeping in mind the welfare of our trekkers.

▪️ RULES & REGULATIONS:
• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited at the time of event
• No plastic littering
• Wear full sleeves, full tracksuit to avoid mosquito bite or leeches
• Proper footwear/ shoes are essential for trekking
• Conserve and preserve our heritage
• Photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes
• Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage

🔺 Terms & Conditions:
• We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice
• No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
• TraWell Amigos will not be responsible for injury / accident / death of the participants
• Any damage to the property will be chargeable
• 50% refund in case if you cancel the plan and inform us 7 days before the event day
• No refund if the cancellation request is less than 4 days
• No Show No Refund
• Bookings cannot be transferred to another date nor it will be transferred to another person against cancellation
