The Kashmir Tulip Festival is an annual event which is held at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden which is Asia’s largest tulip garden and one of the magnificent nature’s retreats in Srinagar. There are around 60 varieties of tulips spread across this 30 hectares land which attracts many nature lovers and people having an interest in horticulture and floriculture.
The garden is located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range which gives a picturesque of the Dal Lake and the snow-covered mountain peaks in the backdrop.
Day 01: Srinagar Sightseeing
• Meeting point at Srinagar Airport by 09.00 am
• Check in to Hotel and get fresh & have tea snacks
• Visit Mughal Garden (Tulip Garden, Nishad, Shalimar, Cheshme Shahi)
• Enjoy Shikara Ride at evening
• Dinner and good night
Day 02: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
• Finish breakfast by 8 am and move for Gulmarg
• Gulmarg sightseeing by private vehicle
• You can do shopping on return to Srinagar
• Dinner & good night
• Wake up call at 6.00 am sharp
• Breakfast by 8.00 and move towards Pahalgam
• Pahalgam sightseeing by private vehicle
• Dinner & good night
• Night stay at Pahalgam
• Wake up call at 6.00 am sharp
• Breakfast by 8.00 and move towards Srinagar
• Pahalgam sightseeing by private vehicle
• You can do shopping on return to Srinagar
• Dinner & good night

• Check out after breakfast and local Sightseeing

Even though minimum age limit to register for the program is 12 years, children less than 18 years of age are accepted for the treks / trips only with a parent’s/guardian’s undertaking.

Q: Which month is best for tulip garden? A: The best time to visit the Tulip Garden in Srinagar is during the month of April preferably in first week.. This is when the tulips are in full bloom and the annual Tulip Festival is held. The tulips do not survive for more than 20 days.
Q: Which month do tulips bloom? A: Bloom times will depend on your location and the weather but, as a rule, early tulips will bloom from March to April and mid-season types will extend the blooming period later into spring. If the weather is cool, tulips may last 1-2 weeks.
